Mike Shavney, owner of Shavney Auto, has been in the field of automotive repair since he was the age of 16. After graduating from the Automotive Training Center in 2001, he acquired all his ASE certifications as a repair technician. Mike is also a licensed Pennsylvania Emissions Repair Technician who has the ability to write waivers. After working on cars for 20+ years and the last 6+ as head mechanic, Mike decided to open his own shop. Mike's wife and office manager, Laura, joined the cause to make their auto shop feel less like, well, an auto shop.

Together in, they started Shavney Automotive so that they could provide a positive experience to both car enthusiasts and novice drivers alike. They want their customers to take their cars home knowing what was fixed and that it was done well.

The shop is located in Broomall, where the previous Mike's Auto flourished for over thirty years. Shavney Auto took over in 2016, working hard to show to community that the friendly environment and quality work will continue on.
